In Niagara, 20% of adults will experience a mental illness at some point in their life, and family and friends will become their major caregivers.
We can help.
Our Story
The FSN was created by five local families who saw a need for mental health education that empowered the families of those affected by mental illness to be stronger advocates for their loved ones. All FSN facilitators are family members and trained mental health professionals.
What We Do
The Family Mental Health Support Network (FSN) offers free workshops that focus on helping caregivers understand mental illness, treatments, and what mental health services are available in the Niagara region. The FSN also supports caregivers by teaching coping skills.
Supporting Niagara families since 1996.
A big thank you to our supporters.
